Front Shop Manager
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
A Full Cycle Store Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of all aspects of the business. They will be responsible for ensuring that all customers are served to the highest standard and that all of their needs are met and exceeded. They will also be responsible for the organization and merchandising of products on the sales floor, ensuring to adjust depending on the time of year and inventory levels.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting customers with purchasing bicycles and accessories by asking leading questions and making informed recommendations to suit their specific needs
- Providing exceptional customer service to all customers by answering inquiries and dealing with any concerns both in store and over the phone
- Attending to any customer complaints and ensuring that the issue is resolved in a timely and professional manner, and following up with staff to address any issues
- Keeping the front shop clean, organized, and well stocked
- Assisting multiple customers is a must (answering the phone while a customer is out on a test ride, assisting a new customer while a test ride bike is having pedals installed, etc)
- Maintaining a professional environment for customers at all times
- Utilizing the POS system to assist customers with in-store purchases and online order pickups
- Hiring and onboarding new front shop staff and providing ongoing training to current staff
- Providing feedback to front shop staff to improve customer service
- Overseeing of opening and closing procedures
- Preparing front shop staff schedules and managing time off requests as well as managing lunch breaks to maintain sufficient coverage based on the time of year and expected traffic levels
- Communicating with the buyer to discuss product selection opportunities or issues
- (Optional) Working with the rest of the online team with suggestions/input on all aspects of Full Cycle’s online and community activity.

- 5+ years retail experience (preferred)
- Previous industry experience required

- Outstanding leadership, customer service, sales, and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Vast industry knowledge
- Strong oral and written skills in English (required) and French (preferred)
- Computer literate
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for bikes is a must
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift up to 35lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time

Back Shop Manager

Sales Associate
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
A Full Cycle sales associate is responsible for assisting customers to find the bike or accessory that meet their unique needs. No matter what a customer is looking for, a sales associate must be able to ask the right questions to enable them to provide an informed recommendation. Whether it is someone getting into biking for the first time or a veteran rider, we want all customers to feel welcomed shopping with us and we will be excited to help them with whatever their needs are.

Mechanic
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
A Full Cycle Senior Mechanic is responsible for completing service work to the highest standard and providing excellent customer service. The Senior Mechanic maintains a strong working knowledge of all industry standards and practices as well as the products and services offered by Full Cycle. They must have strong communication skills to be able to effectively interact with customers and other back shop employees.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completing assigned work orders ensuring that all repairs are done safely and efficiently
- Able to complete all services offered by Full Cycle such as tune-ups, suspension servicing, wheel building, brake bleeding, and complete overhauls of all bearing interfaces
- Explaining in detail the repairs completed in the work order
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the backshop
- Effectively and professionally communicating with customers in person, via email, or over the phone to discuss repairs completed, get authorization for additional repairs, and to notify that their bike is ready for pickup
- Helping to maintain an organized backshop and work area
- Building bikes with excellent attention to detail
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping with customer flow at the service counter by writing work orders and processing bike pickups as required
- Helping customers in the front shop as required
- Participating in maintaining a safe work environment at all times
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years experience as a bike mechanic
